Have a chat with a friend, and give them one of our postcards
Good afternoon, folks! We usually reach out to remind you about the No Tyranny Tuesdays protest, but today, we’re asking you to take another kind of action: reach out and talk to a friend or acquaintance about our protest, and the Citizens Resisting Tyranny effort. Personal contact can be one of the best ways to encourage participation and action. And we have the perfect vehicle to launch the discussion.
Here’s an image (both sides) of our postcard-size handout. We are hand delivering some of the cards in our local neighborhoods, but we would like you to amplify our efforts by committing to hand out three cards to your like-minded friends or acquaintances. Encourage them to visit our web site, sign up for our Substack, or come to our Brier Creek corner No Tyranny Tuesdays protest (or all three).

How to get the cards? Come to the protest on Tuesday, we’ll have some ready for you. If that isn’t convenient, we’ll deliver to your address; just notify us how many you want (and where to deliver them!) using the contact info on the card image.
Meanwhile, if you haven’t yet had a chance, take a look at our web site at https://www.no-tyranny.org. We will be adding new content regularly, including new opportunities to take action.
We hope to see you at No Tyranny Tuesday on 9/30 depending on whether “likely Imelda” decides to come inland. I would say, maybe you should consider that “deliver the postcards to my house” option!

“Likely Imelda” – Sounds like a great name for a band!

Hi Maureen,
Yes, I’m interested in handing out postcards and I’d like some. We’ll be there on Tuesday unless there’s a hurricane and you cancel. In that case, send me 3 postcards or more (I’ll be going to Wake Forest Indivisible’s Authoritarian Book Club on Oct. 5th and I can pass some out there. My address is 1311 Burningbush Ln. Apt. 201, Raleigh, NC 27614. Thanks so much for everything you do.
